I look at your face every night.
I see what I need to see.
I watch you breathing through out the night.
You talk to someone in your dreams.
I wonder who’s the one you are seeing.
I hope that it’s me,
because you’re saying that you love him.
I see you reaching out to him
and I want to grab you.
But I’m afraid you will turn away.
So I just kiss you on the cheek.
As I go to kiss you, you turn and
your lips turn to mine and we kiss.
Then something unexpected happens.
I wake up alone and learn,
that it was all a dream
