two men watching the sunset while one plays the guitar
My Poems

One male to another

We met in a sacred place.

You came to me and said; “I have the same button.”

We couldn’t speak at that time.

So we didn’t say anything, because there was a service going on.

I sat there thinking that I wanted to get to know you, then maybe we could share our lives.

But I was afraid for what the church might do to us.

If they only knew, I wanted you in my life.

But you can not be my wife, for you are a male and I am a male.

So the church won’t let us share our lives.
